Country Energy Australian Surf Festival

The Country Energy Australian Surf Festival returns to the beautiful and wave-rich Port Macquarie, on the Mid-North Coast of NSW for a 3rd year from 14-28 August, 2010.
The Competition
The event will see over 350 competitors from around the nation descend on Port Macquarie for a shot at being crowned an Australian Champion. In all, 24 prestigious Australian Titles will be decided across 3 surfing disciplines with the Australian Longboard Titles, Australian Surfmasters Titles and Australian Stand Up Paddleboard Titles all being staged during the 2-week Festival.
The event will feature a Live Event Broadcast with Live Scores, Event commentary, Daily Photo & Video Highlight galleries and Event News all at the Official Country Energy Australian Surf Festival Website - www.australiansurffestival.com.
The Entertainment
Action is certainly not restricted to the competition in the water. An ever expanding Entertainment and Activity Schedule will see competitors, spectators and the local community emersed in surfing culture with an ecclectic surf themed Art Exhibition, Live Music and Surf Films staged during the 2-week Festival
The Glasshouse Arts, Conference and Entertainment Centre will be the hub for the Country Energy Australian Surf Festival's Entertainment with the following events confirmed:

- Surf Film #2 / Tim Bonython's Sessions 2 - Slab Hunter and MayDayz - 2 massive days at Teahupo'o / Thursday 26th August 2010 / 7:30pm** / Tickets $12.50*
- Surf Music #2 / King Tide + Mojo Bluesmen / Friday 27th August 2010 / 7:45pm* / Tickets $17.50*
